Visits and organisation
Where do you provide animal rehabilitation?
The Multivet Active centre is located at ul. Kościuszki 61 in Lutynia, just outside Wrocław. Dog and cat owners come to us for rehabilitation and physiotherapy from Wrocław and the whole surrounding area - the convenient location makes regular visits easy.
How do I book a consultation?
The easiest way is to use online booking. You can also call +48 533 557 247 or write via the contact form.
What does the first visit look like?
We start the first visit with an interview and a functional assessment of the patient - we assess range of motion, gait, muscle strength and responses to touch. On this basis we design an individual rehabilitation plan and choose therapy methods.
Do I need documentation from a vet?
If the patient has had surgery or diagnostics, bring any available documentation (surgery report, X-rays, test results). This makes it easier to plan safe, effective rehabilitation. As part of the Multivet clinic we have access to veterinary consultation and diagnostics when needed.
Rehabilitation and physiotherapy
Which animals is rehabilitation for?
Rehabilitation is used by dogs and cats after orthopaedic and neurological surgery, in degenerative joint disease, disc disease and obesity, as well as senior patients and active and sporting dogs.
What does animal physiotherapy include?
Physiotherapy means therapeutic exercise (kinesiotherapy), manual therapy and massage. They improve range of motion, release tension and rebuild muscle strength. We also teach owners simple exercises to do at home.
Do you provide cat rehabilitation?
Yes. We carry out cat rehabilitation especially calmly, at their own pace - shorter sessions and a quiet setting allow effective therapy without stress.
How many rehabilitation sessions are needed?
We set the number and frequency of sessions individually - they depend on the type of problem, the goal of therapy and the patient’s progress. We set the plan after a functional assessment and adjust it during therapy.
INDIBA therapy and the water treadmill
What is INDIBA therapy and how does it work?
INDIBA Animal Health is a non-invasive technology using a frequency of 448 kHz (Proionic® System). It stimulates microcirculation and cellular metabolism, which supports tissue regeneration, improves oxygenation and helps reduce pain and swelling.
Is an INDIBA treatment painful?
The therapy is non-invasive and usually well tolerated. Depending on the stage of the problem we work atermally or with noticeable, pleasant warmth. We adjust the settings to the patient’s response.
Which dogs is the water treadmill intended for?
Hydrotherapy works well in rehabilitation after orthopaedic and neurological surgery, in degenerative joint disease and obesity, and also in training sporting dogs and maintaining seniors’ fitness.
Does a dog need to know how to swim to use the water treadmill?
No. The dog walks on a belt and we set the water level individually. The animal is secured and under the physiotherapist’s care the whole time, which ensures safety and comfort.
Can the methods be combined?
Yes - the best results come from combining methods. INDIBA, the water treadmill, manual therapy and exercise form one coherent recovery plan that changes as the patient progresses.
